Feb 1977 - 1st publicity shot, same day we recorded some tracks for the Alan Freeman show. I've got to admit I've looked happier.
Must've known what was coming.
Reading festival, from the press pit Our tour manager promised us a helicopter, but I ended up traveling to the festival site with Dixie in his girlfriend's Morris Minor - which broke down as we drove onto the site. The glamour of it all.
Headline tour - October '77. Praying for my chest hair to grow.
Those were the days, when a man could pose around in a blouse
and no-one thought him strange.
Headlining the Rainbow Theatre - October '77. During Paul's "Hypnotic Mover" solo. It was a great night. Alan Freeman came to the show. Introduced us onstage, which gave it a real sense of occasion.
1st tour, early '77. Cardiff Top Rank. How the hell we got Dixie's kit on stage I'll never know.
